DESCRIPTION:Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes
  education and achievement. Also known as Freedom Day\, Jubilee Day\, and 
 Emancipation Day\, Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemor
 ation of ending slavery in the United States.\n\nIt recognizes the events 
 of June 19\, 1865\, when news of President Lincoln’s Emancipation Procla
 mation reached Galveston\, Texas\, freeing enslaved people in the furthest
  reaches of the South. The event occurred two and a half years after Linco
 ln signed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1\, 1863.\n\nWe will be
  doing voting registrations and validating voters registrations.  Come an
